Whether you are working in a hotel, bank or other customer-facing industries, you need language skills and specific techniques in order to communicate in English successfully. This course not only covers vocabulary and expressions specific to the customer service industry but also addresses strategies to assist in the effective use of English in a business context. Students will be taken through different forms of customer contact from face to face meetings, phone calls with customers, call centre service, written communication and presentations. The course will also address tips and tricks for customer relationship management and crisis-response. The evaluation will include students applying what they learn this in this course to their day-to-day jobs, working closely with the coach to adapt the material for their own roles.

This course is specifically designed for personnel in the sales industry. If you work in the sales department and need to learn to communicate effectively with English speaking clients, this course is for you. The course presents all the essential expressions and conversation techniques that will enable sales employees to communicate accurately and fluently in all sales-related situations. Students are presented with realistic situations in sales settings. You will learn how to approach a new client, develop proposals, prepare for negotiations, tie up orders and deliveries and dealing with or making complaints. As part of the evaluation, students will also work with the course coach on perfecting their own sales pitch pertaining to their job scopes.
